Privacy Policy for Migrelle
Last updated: June 20, 2026
General
This Privacy Policy ('Policy') governs the manner in which our iOS application, Migrelle ('Application'), manages, collects, uses, and discloses information. Migrelle is a private migraine and health tracker. It does not require an account, and it does not send your personal or health information to us or to any third-party server. We operate no backend server for the Application, and we do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
Information You Enter
The information you log in the Application — including migraine attacks, pain levels, symptoms, triggers, medications, notes, and (if you choose to track it) menstrual cycle dates — is stored locally on your device ('Device'). If you have iCloud enabled, this data is synced through your own private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit so it stays available across your devices. We cannot access this data. It is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Apple Health (HealthKit)
If you grant permission, the Application reads sleep data from Apple Health read-only, solely to factor short sleep — a common migraine trigger — into your on-device high-risk forecast. The Application never writes any data to Apple Health, never uses Health data for advertising or marketing, and never shares Health data with any third party. Health data is processed on your Device and is not transmitted to us. This permission is optional; the Application is fully functional without it, and you can revoke it at any time in the iOS Settings or Health app.
Location and Weather
If you enable the weather feature, the Application uses your approximate location, with your permission ('When In Use'), only to retrieve local barometric pressure through Apple's WeatherKit service for your high-risk forecast. Your location is used to request weather data and is not stored by us or shared with any third party other than Apple's WeatherKit, which is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. This permission is optional and can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings.
Notifications
If you enable high-risk day alerts, the Application schedules local notifications on your Device. These are generated on-device from your own data and are not sent through any external server.
Information We Collect
We do not collect, store, or have access to any personal or health information. Because the Application has no server and no account, there is no data collection by us involved in providing the service. We do not share any personally identifying information publicly or with third-parties, as we do not collect any such information.
Your Control and Data Retention
You can delete any logged entry within the Application at any time, which removes it from your Device and your private iCloud. Deleting the Application removes the data stored on your Device.
Children's Privacy
The Application is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Not Medical Advice
Migrelle is a self-tracking and wellness tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding any medical condition.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
